Crossfit, Easter, Florida, and The Zoo!

Be warned, this blog may be a bit long winded and full of pictures (that you may or may not have seen on my facebook already) - I'm uber behind on events and so I'm going to try and do a little catch up today!

- First I wanted to recap a bit on the Crossfit Open! The experience was a lot of fun and I'm really glad we participated. We didn't get to do the last WOD cause we were in Florida and didn't get into our hotel until about 3:00 in the morning... getting up at 6:00 to go do a killer WOD just didn't seem like a great idea. So we passed. Even without doing the final WOD though we both felt happy about how we did. I'm excited for next year and really wanna work hard to do even better! Here is a random collection of photos of me and Braedon from the open.

- Also since the last time I blogged we had Easter! I had to work that morning so that sorta sucked, but the rest of the day was a lot of fun! While I worked Braedon went to his parents to see them and to watch his siblings do their Easter egg hunt and baskets. Rose got her first Easter Basket! Then later that day we went to my folks where we all got to do a hunt for prizes and candy. It was a lot of fun to watch the little ones run around... and to watch us older kids do the same. ;) Rose didn't do much of her own running around - but she sure did look pretty in her Easter dress. :)

- We also had our Florida trip of course. I probably should dedicate a whole blog to this one, but I just know if I say that, it will never happen. So here is a quick photo dump to basically sum up our trip! For some reason blogger dumped the photos in a random order... so enjoy! 

 We played in pools and took pictures next to garden creatures.

 I played an 'extra' in the Indiana Jones show. 

 We ate fresh mango and went on rides. Rose loved Toy Story. 

 We played on many beaches!

 Went to the aquarium where Rose loved the bubbles....

 ... and we got eaten by a shark. ;) We also went to Epcot and saw pretty flowers!

 Rose loved walking with Daddy and sitting with him on boats.

 We saw contortionists and giant guitars. 

 We went to Magic Kingdom!

 And rode horsey's and ate swords!

 And rode more rides!

 Rose rode on daddy's shoulders and tried icecream for the first time!

 We went on slides...

 Rode bikes and saw alligators (crocodiles?), road more boats and went snorkling! 

 We also took some family photos!

 We also went to Animal Kingdom!

 Took walks on the beach and played in the waves!

...and ate spoons.

 

  We basically enjoyed ourselves in general...

  And Rose did wonderful on her plane rides!

 

 

And most importantly we enjoyed the sunshine and warm weather!!

- Annnnd lastly this past weekend we went to the Zoo with my family! It was so nice to get out and be in the sun, even if it was a bit chilly due to the wind.

 Giant Polar Bear made of LEGOS! So cool.

 The Polar Bear was a hit - he'd do his little flips right off the wall and the girls would giggle like crazy!

- All in all, life is really good! We are staying busy and enjoying the warmer weather. I hope it's actually here to stay this time. Bring on Spring and Summer! :)
